Our Mission
The mission of The Family Business Foundation is to educate and empower Youth & Young Adults who are experiencing homelessness with the skills and confidence necessary to get a job, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children.
The Family Business Foundation mission was created by youth & young adults expressing their needs, and a community coming together with the desire to end homelessness—for good. For several years, WE have empowered families and their children into breaking the cycle of poverty and achieving self-reliance. Located in Raleigh NC & Baltimore City MD, WE provide the quality of life by promoting Health & Wellness, Academic - Education Excellence, Economic Empowerment, Civic Engagement, Arts & Culture Appreciation, and Environmental and Social Justice, all in a safe and nurturing environment where every person is treated with respect and dignity.

The Family Business Foundation
The Family Business Foundation NC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization main office based in Raleigh/Durham, NC & satellite offices in Los Angles, California and Baltimore City, Maryland that supports and promotes family-owned businesses in North Carolina, California and Maryland. Our mission is to improve the lives of families by addressing local issues and providing creative solutions for positive social change. We are committed to our core values of compassion, integrity, and community.
The work with educators, counseling professionals, government officials, and partner nonprofits to identify social, economic, and educational issues impacting both children and parents in undeserved communities. We seek to alleviate associated hardships by:

leveraging our network donors to provide direct relief;

relying on the educational, legal, philanthropic, and social service experience of our volunteers and board members, and

using our local business affiliations to amplify, supplement, or fill gaps in existing services.

Morgan Bailey
As the Executive Director of the Family Business Foundation NC, Morgan Bailey is dedicated to our mission of improving the lives of families in North Carolina and Baltimore City MD. With her extensive experience in nonprofit management, Morgan is a valuable asset to our team.
Tonya Farmer
As the Human Resources & Chief Operations Manager at the Family Business Foundation NC. With her passion for community engagement and his expertise in program development, Tonya is instrumental in creating positive social change in undeserved communities.
Bobby Eaton
As Fundrising & Grants Development Associate at the Family Business Foundation NC., is responsible for improving grantmaking systems and processes, leveraging data and insight, and building a culture that values the importance of efficient, flexible, and equitable grants Managment practices His goal is to deliver an exceptional grantee experience by continuously improving on how we do our work
Jayla Hairson
As Board Chair of the Family Business Foundation NC/MD, Jayla leads the organization with bringing years of experience in Communications and Human Resources across various industries, holds an MBA from Iona College, and served as a faithful volunteer with AG before joining the board.
Robin Nile
As Sr. Executive Administer of the Family Business Foundation NC/MD, Robin leads the organization in pursuit of its stated mission has spent most of her career working in nonprofit organizations. She has a master’s degree in public health and her work focuses on communications, advocacy, and public relations.
