Programs That Strengthen Kids/Families and Build Better Communities
BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR KIDS & FAMILIES
At Family Business Foundation NC, we believe that we can create a brighter future for kids & families in North Carolina (RTP Area), Lancaster, CA, and Baltimore City, MD. Join us in our mission to create positive social change and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. Across these regions, we actively dismantle barriers to success through targeted initiatives that address the immediate and systemic needs of vulnerable youth.
Our Pathway Transit Rideshare program directly tackles educational equity by ensuring safe, accessible transportation for Title 1 students, while our Education and Reading Literacy tracks give children the foundational tools to succeed academically. We combat systemic inequities through our Social Justice and Health and Wellness Equality programs, which foster inclusive, supportive environments where every child can thrive.
Additionally, we nourish growing bodies and minds through our Food Justice for Kids initiative, and we stand as a beacon of resilience during times of crisis by providing specialized Disaster Recovery support in Lancaster, CA. By combining educational enrichment, basic needs security, and advocacy, we are engineering a sustainable, equitable tomorrow where families are empowered and communities are transformed.

why we do it
The founders of Family Business Foundation envision a world where all families have an equal opportunity for happiness, health, and success. Family Business Foundation was created in December 2020 to diagnose both individual and collective barriers to this vision, and treat finding prompt, thoughtful, and coordinated solutions like a “business” in which no problem is too small.
